Hi, I’m Janet and I set up Staffordshire Sewing Machines in 2022. I had taken over as owner of The Corner Patch fabric and haberdashery shop in 2019, selling fabrics and accessories for quilting and dressmaking, and love using my Janome sewing machines in my sewing classes and at home. So I’m delighted that I can now share these with you too, giving you the opportunity to try a range of machines to find the one that suits you best.

You’re guaranteed a warm welcome in the shop, where my friendly team and I are happy to demonstrate the features of each machine and help you choose the one that suits you.

Once you’ve bought a machine Janome offer excellent aftersales care and peace of mind with its two-year warranty. If your machine does require attention during the warranty period, just return it to us and we will sort it out.

We are happy to provide on-going support with minor problems, and 1:1 or small group lessons can be arranged too.

Once your machine is out of the warranty period, we work with an experienced sewing machine engineer to provide a full servicing and repair drop-off and collection service for most makes of machine. Leave your machine with us anytime during our opening hours. You will be given a free estimate before any work is undertaken, so no nasty surprises.

The machine will be returned to the shop once the work has been completed and you will be notified that it is ready for you to collect.
